A Medicine Woman’s Prayer
I will not rescue you, for you are not powerless.
I will not fix you, for you are not broken.
I will not heal you for, I see you in your wholeness.
I will walk with you through the darkness
as you remember your light.

Registered Psychotherapist
My approach to therapy is an integrative, holistic and client-centered one, focused on meeting you where you are as a unique individual with your own unique needs. I am committed to helping you maximize your potential to live a more purposeful, passionate, connected and fulfilling life. I believe in creating strong therapeutic alliances by approaching you with compassion and respect to help you attain the well-being you deserve.
I completed my Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University in Fredericton, New Brunswick and am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I am also a Clinical Supervisor and professional member of Somatic Experiencing International and Yoga Alliance.
My previous career in human resource and financial consulting helped me in understanding the impact that stress, demotivation, a lack of genuine human connection, and a disconnection from a higher purpose can have on a person’s overall well-being. Complemented by my yoga teacher training, this awareness led to an appreciation for the intimate relationship between physical and mental health and drives my approach when working with clients.
I enjoy taking long walks in nature and cooking with my children. I also love to see the world and have been exposed to diverse cultures and ways of life. While living abroad for over a decade, I travelled across Europe, SWANA (South-West Asia and North Africa), East Asia, and Africa. These invaluable experiences have provided me with the ability to create greater understanding of and forge relationships with people with diverse ways of viewing the world.
